Greet Children's Day at Lhasa SOS Children's Village |

May 30, a gala, "Golden Sunglow" was organized in Lhasa for
celebrating the coming Children's Day which occurs on every June 1. Losang Dondrup, the vice director of TAR People's Congress Standing Committee attended the gala and some departments not only offered wonderful performances, but donated for the needy children. Lhasa SOS Children's Village was established in June 2001. With the
help of TAR government, Lhasa government and friends from home and
abroad, 181 orphans live happily in 17 households here. |
